83, longtime resident of the South Side of Chicago-Clearing neighborhood, passed away on May 15, 2023. Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Gail (nee Turner) Hand. Loving father of the late Gail S. (John) Rodriguez and Peter Hand; cherished grandfather of Jahmila Rodriguez, John (Cynthia) Rodriguez, and Stevie Rodriguez; dearest brother of the late Daniel Hand (late Loretta Polley); also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Evelyn (nee Beatty) Hand.
Services will be held at Central Chapel, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service, Friday, May 19, 2023 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation following in accordance with his wishes.
