Rosa Yañez, 46, September 4, 2019, 46, longtime resident of the West Side of Chicago-Little Village neighborhood. Loving wife of Jose Ramos and cherished mother of Jose (Yamilet) Ramos, Luz (David) Ramos and Mariana (Gerardo) Ramos. Devoted grandmother of Jose Tadeo Ramos, Matthew Ramos, Vanessa Ann Santiago, Jaylani Ramos and Jose Luis Ramos. Loving daughter of Mariana Jimenez and the late Joquin Yañez. Rosa was a proud sister of Oscar, Javier, Sergio, Francisco, Jorge Luis, Juan Carlos, Guadalupe and Rufina. Cooking was Rosa's favorite pastime, second to caring for her family and grandchildren.

Rosa enjoyed music, loved to dance and sing, especially to music by Irene Rivas & Jenni Rivera. Rosa was known as a "joker". She got great joy out of seeing people smile and laugh. Rosa was a wonderful aunt and friend to all, who will be greatly missed.

Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Saturday, September 14, 2019, from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, 7 p.m. Cremation following.
