To John and Roserita’s Family. I was so sad to hear of Rit’s passing. Rit was her abbreviated quilting nickname since I first met her online in Quilting club. We were friends and roommates on quilting trips out West. She and John traveled here to Connecticut in the late 90’s to visit when a whole bunch of us from on line quilting had a get together. She was friendly, funny, fun and I know that somewhere she had made a lot of quilts or quilt tops she might not have finished. She always said, “Oh they’re in a box piled up. I’ll finish them someday.” I don’t know if she finished them or not but she was a wonderful and prolific quilter back when we were all quilting. I hope you find them. Please accept my most sincere condolences on your loss. She was a great gal and will be missed by all her old quilting pals. Please Stay Safe and Be Well.
Love from Poppins in CT 🌹🙏🌹
