Obituary for Ruben Campos

Ruben Campos, 50, March 31, 2021 in Mexico, resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago-West Lawn neighborhood. He is survived by his loving children, Ruben Campos (Manny Solis), Krystal Campos (Naiel Mohammad), Stephanie Campos, Sophia Campos, and the late Kevin Campos; cherished grandfather of Alexavier, Natalie, Selma, Malik, Hanan, and Musa; dear brother of Francisco Campos, Blanca (Omar) Vera, Ruby (Adan) Delgado, Jorge Campos, Alma Campos, Jacqueline (Victor Moreno), and the late Carlos Campos; also survived by a host of numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Ruben loved to travel. His family described him as a person who was willing to help others, regardless of their situation. He was a very caring, kind-hearted, and generous. Ruben always had an answer for everything, no matter what the question was.

Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Sunday, April 11, from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Monday, April 12, 2021, 8:45 a.m., at chapel, to St. Rita Church, 6243 S. Fairfield Ave, Chicago. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Burial St. Mary Cemetery.

For those attending services, PLEASE NOTE THAT COVID19 RESTRICTIONS FOR MAXIMUM GATHERING WILL BE OBSERVED: 25 PEOPLE AT A TIME AT FUNERAL HOME, 100 PEOPLE AT CHURCH. MASKS REQUIRED.
