Sharon “Shay” Martin 78, December 6, 2021 long time resident of the South West Side of Chicago, Westlawn neighborhood. Beloved wife of Anthony Martin, Cherished mother of the late Cynthia (Mark) Hisson and Linda Martin. Devoted sister to Kenneth Pilecek, Pamela Hodonski, Michelle Dolin, and Renee Pilecek. Proud grandmother of Heather Garcia, Caitlyn Hisson, Phaedra Hisson and Jack Hisson. She is the daughter of the Late Frank and Violet (nee Hejtmannd) Pilecek.

Sharon loved working and playing on the computer. She enjoyed playing games on her tablet. She had great fun sitting down to board games with friends and family. Sharon enjoyed reading mystery books and traveling. Anything was fun as long as it was shared with family and friends. Sharon worked for more 43 years as a nurse at Michael Reese Hospital.

Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 3 to 8 p.m., funeral service at 6 p.m. Funeral Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Central Chapel 10 a.m. Burial Resurrection Cemetery.
