Terri was born on December 22, 1967 in Chicago, IL and was the beloved daughter of the late Eugene T. (Linda) Murden and Kathleen (Ken) Kalber.
Terri was known as Tia Nina to Valeria Velazquez and a loving caring sister to Maureen (Brian), Gina (Jim) and Amy (Tim). The bond she shared with her sisters will remain unbreakable.
Terri was preceded in death by her loving grandparents; Eugene and Concetta Murden, and James and Catherine Hurley.
She had many nieces and nephews, Brittney (Brandon) Timmy (Loren) Joe (Anisa) Shannon, Jack (Catalina), and Tyler (Brookelyn)
She was a great aunt to Gambit, Luna, Kennedy, Rylan, Layla and Connor.
Fond niece of Marylou (Jay), Noreen (late Ronald), late Felicia (late Leo), late Janet (late Bob), James Hurley, late John Hurley, Kelly (Michael), Karon (Bill)
Terri was a cherished cousin to so many.
Prior to moving back to Illinois, Terri lived in California in the 80/90’s and was proud of her career as a Patient care technician for an Oncology group. Terri always went above and beyond in this role to ensure that her patients were comfortable and in turn they became her personal friends. Once she moved back to IL she continued to focus her career within the healthcare field and really made a difference in the lives of so many of her patients.
Terri also spent her time volunteering at her residence, Bria of Westmont as the President of the resident council. She handled an array of things for residents from putting a welcome committee together for new residents entering the facility to assisting residents with their personal business interactions.
Terri had a heart of gold and loved spending time with her family.
Terri cherished getting together with her friends to play cards and share a good meal often consisting of tacos or pizza. Other than Christmas, Terri’s next favorite holiday was Halloween. Since she was a small child, she always enjoyed decorating and most of all dressing up for Halloween.
Anyone that knew Terri knew that she was a devout Chicago Bears and White Sox fan.
Terri will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her memory will live on through all our memories made throughout the years.
