Obituary for Thomas Joseph Donegan Sr.
Thomas Joseph Donegan, Sr., 57, April 24, 2020, lifetime resident of the South Side of Chicago, of Scottsdale neighborhood, former longtime, proud resident of the Canaryville and Bridgeport neighborhoods; beloved father of Thomas J. (Gaby) Donegan, Jr., Theresa Donegan and Timothy Donegan; devoted son of the late John F. Donegan and the late Mary Higgins Gabler; dear step-son of the late Edward Gabler; dear brother of Bonnie Oros and the late Jack Donegan; dear brother in law of Russell Oros; loving uncle and friend to many.
Tom was an over the road truck driver who enjoyed fishing, car racing, drag racing, demolition derby racing. He was also an avid rock music fan, especially Ozzy Osbourne.
In view of the Coronavirus and out of concern for their friends and loved ones, Tom’s immediate family will gather for private family services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL. Cremation following.
