Wesly Ryan Johnson, 45, passed away Sunday, September 18th, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.
He was born on May 12th, 1977 in Chicago (Canaryville) Illinois. Making his debut in the newspaper by breaking a record for the neighborhood by weighing a heaping 13.5 pounds at Mercy Hospital.
Wes was a gamer, loved to play the slot machines, and also enjoyed anything & everything horror related. One of his favorite memories growing up was being on his uncle Dutchies farm and getting to drive the lawn mower during the Summer time.
Wesly was a beloved son of the late Raymond Johnson and Betsy Johnson (Ryan); loving sibling of Gail Johnson, Stacy Johnson, and Victoria Muffitt; cherished uncle of Raymond Johnson (Michelle), Kassidy Estrada (Anthony), David Johnson, Victor Gonsalez (Susan), Miranda Gonsalez (Ray), Ashton Muffitt, Dylan Muffitt, great-nieces and great-nephews; also survived by numerous fond aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A mass will be held on Saturday October 1st, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. to pay tribute. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McInerney Central Chapel. Wesly's last wishes were to be cremated so there will be no funeral service.
