William E. Pfeifer, 71, July 19, 2020, lifetime resident of the South Side of Chicago-Canaryville neighborhood, devoted father of William (Karen) Pfeifer and Susan Pfeifer; loving grandfather of Logan Pfeifer; beloved son of the late Alvin and Lorraine Davies Pfeifer; fond brother of Robert Pfeifer (deceased), Karen Zalewski, and Mary Ellen (William) Howell; dear uncle of many. Bill was an avid dog lover whose cherished companion, Lola recently passed away.

Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Italy.

Services at McINERNEY CENTRAL CHAPEL, 4635 S. Wallace St., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Burial with military honors, 1 p.m., at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. PLEASE NOTE THAT COVID19 RESTRICTIONS FOR MAXIMUM GATHERING, 50 PERSONS AT A TIME AT McINERNEY’s, 20 PERSONS AT CEMETERY, WILL BE OBSERVED.
