Sheldon Manny Stern, 93, Aug. 24, 2011, dearly beloved husband and best friend of Shirley, nee Gold; devoted father of Richard (late Toba, nee Somerman) Stern, Linda (Marvin) Cohen, Nancy (Leonard) Manewith and the late Susan Stern; cherished grandfather of Michael (Stephanie) Stern, Caryn (George) Leonard, Missi (Dave) Iannella, Adam (Lindsay) Cohen, Danielle (Joshua) Ruben, and Bradley (Jamie) Manewith; loving great grandfather of eight; dear brother of Bernard (Rita) Stern and the late Leonard (Elayne) Stern. Graveside Service Friday, Aug. 26, 10:30 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery, 7800 W. Montrose Ave., Norridge, IL.
