Arthur E "Eddie"  DePesa
Arthur Edward DePesa, 83, April 20, 2018, lifelong resident of the south and southwest sides of Chicago, of Clearing neighborhood, beloved son of the late Arthur E. and Irene June Toweson DePesa, Sr.; loving brother of the late John D. DePesa and the late Ronald A. DePesa; dear uncle, great uncle and great great uncle of many; devoted cousin and companion of the recently deceased, Laurent M. “Larry” Rosenstiehl.

Proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Medical Corps. Loving volunteer care giver to many. Longtime member of St. Symphorosa Super Club. Art spent many years of dedicated service to the funeral industry working as a family care associate and wake attendant, working for many years for The Lamb Family at Blake-Lamb Funeral Homes. After Blake-Lamb closed its 63rd Street chapel in 2007, Art worked for Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home and then, Central Chapel, from where he retired in 2015. Art was a familiar and consoling face at Blake-Lamb’s 103rd Street and 63rd Street chapels, Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home and Central Chapel.

Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where friends may call on Tuesday, May 1, from 8 to 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m., at St. Symphorosa Church, 6135 S. Austin Ave., Chicago. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
