Bob was a man who touched many of us through his own research work, and support of others while at NIDA, his mentorship of students, his long friendships, his advocacy of good causes, and his warmth and winning generosity of spirit. He was "well rounded" - he loved not only his family and friends but his cats and good jazz. A special person who will long be remembered and missed.
