Donal F. On behalf of my sisters Mairead,Agnes and Carmel my brothers Brendan, Brian and Noel I would like to offer our sincere condolences to Carol Ann ,Mary ,Daniel, and Carol Marie and the extended Corcoran family in U S A .Also to our kind neighbour Kathleen and the Corcoran family in Ireland.
Growing up in the lovely parish of Fossa in the 50 s Donal was a hero and a role model for us.We were in awe of him as he responded to Fr Browne in perfect Latin during the very many church occasions in Fossa church. My three brothers and I went on to emulate him in that role although I'm sure our latin was not as perfect as his.Donals parish clerk role was varied and one of these roles involved tending to the presbytery gardens.I have great memories of his generousity with the priests apples which were extremely sweet.
Our parents Ned and Hannie were honoured later to welcome Donal and his lovely family to our house during their frequent trips home .We still recall Donals generousity with lovely gifts from U S A for all of us.
Donal rest in peace with your sister Margaret and lovely parents Bill and Nora.
