Edward S. Gierut, 93, May 26, 2016, lifelong resident of the southwest side of Chicago, of Garfield Ridge neighborhood, beloved husband of the late Helen A. Gierut, nee Lutkevich; devoted father of Carolyn Sipiera and the late Lawrence Gierut; loving grandfather of Jayne Butera, Jill McHugh, Nicholas Gierut, Michael Gierut and Kristen Caraher; dear great-grandfather of Matthew, Quinn, Hannah, Hailey, Hope, and Johanna.

Resting at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave, Chicago, IL, on Tuesday morning, May 31, from 9 a.m., until 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass Tuesday, 11 a.m., at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 4810 S. Leamington Ave., Chicago, IL Burial St. Casimir Lithuanian Cemetery.
