Joaquin Cruz, 84, July 13, 2016, longtime resident of the south side of Chicago-of Brighton Park neighborhood, survived by his daughters, Celia Cruz (Israel Gamez, C.P.D.) and Clara Cruz; three grandchildren, Xavier Gamez, Gabriel Gamez, and Victoria Ramierz. Preceded in death by his wife, Irma Cruz, parents, Pedro Cruz and Clara Hernandez Cruz, brothers and sisters.

Resting at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave, Chicago, IL, on Monday, July 18, from 4 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday, July 19, at 10 a.m. Rev. Thomas Hyde, officiating. Burial St. Mary Cemetery.
