Marc Edward Dunworth passed away March 7, 2018, at the age of 35.
He was born and raised in Chicago and lived there for most of his life. He is survived by his parents, Tim and Rose, his grandfather, Tony, his two younger sisters, Sarah and Megan, his brothers-in-law, Sean and Bob, and his beloved niece Fiona.
Marc attended Brother Rice High School and Columbia College, where he studied art and puppetry. He devoted a large part of his life and time to his passion for puppetry. He enjoyed employment in a few different fields throughout the years, but making and performing with puppets was his dream and passion. Throughout his career in puppetry, he became connected with a vast network of fellow dedicated creative professionals, including the Melikins, who he was introduced to at an early age, and Dave Herzog, who mentored him in his adult years. These people and many more inspired and supported him. He was a beloved member of that community.
He leaves behind many, many friends and aunts, uncles, and cousins whose lives he touched.
His wake will be held Saturday, March 10, from 3 pm to 8 pm at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, with a celebration of his life at 6 pm.
"Unable to perceive the shape of you, I find you all around me. Your presence fills my eyes with your love, it humbles my heart, for you are everywhere."
