Salgado, 68, March 12, 2017, longtime resident of the southwest West side of Chicago-Chicago Lawn neighborhood; dearly beloved wife of Ponciano Salgado; devoted mother of Catalina Gutierrez, Gavino Salgado, Raymundo Salgado, Petra Salgado and David Salgado; loving grandmother of Ruben, Elias, Joshua, Bianca, Cristal, Gael, Janya, Meleena and Alexander; dear daughter of the late Francisco and Asuncion Carrillo; fond sister.

Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, where family and friends may call on Friday, March 17, from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral Saturday, March 18, 8:45 a.m., chapel prayers at Central Chapel, to St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 6435 S. Kilbourn Ave., Chicago. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Burial Resurrection Cemetery.
