Maximino Albor, 79, August 27, 2016, lifetime resident of the south side of Chicago, of Gage Park, born and raised in the Back of the Yards, dearly beloved husband of 56 years to Cleotilde Albor; cherished father of Maria Araceli Garcia, Maria Cleotilde Abbott, Daniel Albor, Norma Albor, Rocio Sanchez, Maribel Albor, Irma Albor, Jacqueline Albor and the late Javier Albor; devoted grandfather of 24 and great grandfather of 12; dear brother of Hermenejildo Nestor Albor; predeceased by his parents, several brothers and sisters.
Maximino was familiarly known as El Borrado, was a curandero, sobador and was a great story teller and jokester.
Resting at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave, Chicago, IL, on Thursday, Sept. 1, from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, Sept. 2, at 10 a.m. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery-Mausoleum of the Archangels.
