THOMASINE HOLUBEK, nee Koranda, 70, February 24, 2016, longtime resident of the south side of Chicago; of Clearing, former longtime resident of Brighton Park. Dearly beloved wife of Joseph Holubek. Devoted mother of Tari Holubek, Joseph (Bridget) Holubek, III, and Scott (Lisa) Holubek. Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Michael, Tyler, Alyssa, Nicholas, Joseph and Jenna. Dear sister of Bonnie Romano, Mary Lou Crespo, Gail Abru, Thomas Koranda and Terry Koranda. Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Josephine Drotnol Koranda and many brothers and sisters.

Retired from Cook County Sheriff’s Department after 25 years of service.

Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Friday, Feb. 26, from 12 Noon until 7 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. Cremation following.
