Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rudolph Zurita can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Dear Cousin Rudy, the last time I remember seeing you was in 1962-63 at the Sherman Home in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. I was in High School and hoping to become a nurse. You use to visit often and I remember that my mother, Jesusa Zurita Vargas, would always cook her enchiladas. My Dad, Josemaria Vargas, would sit and talk with you and I loved the gentle and respectful way you treated them and your kindness toward your cousins. You sent me a very handsome picture, which I still cherish and a letter with a "nurse stamp" that I have saved all these years. I also remember that you took my sister Ruth (Medina) and I to lunch when we were at a church convention in Chicago. I want your Family and Friends to Know how much my parents loved you and how you will always be remembered as a gentle and caring cousin in our lives. Thank you for your service to our Country.

My uncle rudy will be missed by all. I enjoyed his phone calls and letters. I remember fondly how much he loved his brother Manuel. Uncle rudy was a pet lover after his dog passed he enjoyed walking a friend's dog.
