Mr. Johnson was my dad's best friend
My mom and dad went to college with Red and Shirley Johnson. They were a part of my growing up in Decatur, Ill., in Rockford, Ill., and in Letchworth, England. Mr. Johnson was my dad's best friend. I doubt two guys have ever had more fun together, whether on the golf course, at Decatur's Fairview Park or at Letchworth Hall. My family was blessed to have known Mr. Johnson. I have only wonderful memories of all our times together over the years.
