Marvin J. Smith, 88, November 18, 2016, Evergreen Park resident for 53 years; beloved husband of 58 years to Melva Sievers Smith, devoted father of Mark (Janet) Smith, Lois (Donald) Heine, and Karl (Karla) Smith; loving grandfather of Dakota, Jackson, Arthur, Henry and Kai; dear brother of Margie Ballard, and preceded by LeRoy Smith and Shirley Zugbaum.

United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Lying In State at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4660 W. 94th St, Oak Lawn, IL, 60453, on Friday, November 25, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Rev. John Moeller, officiating. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday at Mt. Greenwood Cemetery.
