Obituary for Rose Lamb
Rose Lamb, nee Graham. Married for 57 years to her childhood sweetheart and beloved best friend, the late Matt Lamb. Loving mom of Rosemarie Lamb, Colleen (Kevin) Ferrara, Sheila (Joe) Gabler and the late Matt IV (Mary Pat and the late Lori) Lamb, Sgt CCSP. Loving mother-in-law of Janet Lamb. Proud grandma of Matt (Beth), Justin (Mel) and Beth Lamb and Rose, Joey and Matt Gabler. Loving GG of Allison, Nathan, Brendan, Robbie and TJ. Best friend and sister of Vivian (Don) Sowa. Dear sister-in-law of Peg (the late Robert Dillon, Joseph Brandl and James Hogg) Dillon and Richard and Sue Lamb. Loving cousin of Pat (Lee) Tew, Peggy (Robert) Muldoon and Leo (the late Charlene) Conlon. Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by her daughter Rose Lamb. Visitation will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL.
Family and friends will meet Monday at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 10621 S. Kedvale Ave., Oak Lawn, IL, for visitation 9:15 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Interment St. James at Sag Bridge Cemetery.
Among her many philanthropic endeavors, Rose was a member of the Women’s Board of Misericordia and former President of Little Company of Mary Hospital Auxiliary.
