The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Walter Lenart can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Moriah
Condolence: Dad,

I have to keep checking. I keep waking up and you're still gone. I still feel like I can hardly breathe sometimes, it hurts so bad to know that if I pick up the phone I'm not going to hear your voice. I still feel like I'm in slow motion like in a nightmare. I just can't find any peace. Joe is starting to do better, you'd be proud of him. I don't know why I can't get past this feeling of unreality. I come and look at your page every single day. Just came by to say hey, and I miss you, and am thinking of you.

Condolence: Dad,

I so sorry you had to leave us so soon, I wish we could of had more time together. I'm very thankful that I was able to spend time and pray with you before you made your departure to heaven.

Dad I know you tried your hardest in life and you did your best to raise us and teach us to respect others.

I know you were listening to me the other day as we reminisced about the past. You taught us how to hunt worms in the rain so we could go fishing and all those days we spent together as a family in Marquette Park and Sherman Park.

You taught us never back down from anyone and get up after we got knock down yet to be humble with others.

May god bless you and welcome you at the gates of heaven. Now, its your time to rest and spend eternity with our family that have past before you and soon we'll all be together again.

Dad, I miss you and love you so much, thanks for being you.

Condolence: Grandpa,

You will be missed! I remember growing up and dad giving me a hard time about wearing makeup and dating boys, lol. You said hunny don't worry about it, I will talk to him for you! Needless to say, I went to homecoming a few weeks later with the help from you. I am glad you are no longer in pain. You will be missed, until we meet again RIP.

Love,
Amanda
